Seven units on the lot.
A fleet small enough that you can get a person on the phone about any of it, instead of a catalogue where nothing is ever available. Tractors, two or three axle, and talent trailers go out too — ask when you call.

Stakebed Trucks
Open deck, removable stake sides. Grip, electric, art department and set dressing move on these.

A lifted Ford E-350 4x4 on all-terrain tires, and a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. Cast and crew, including where the road stops being a road.

Restrooms for the locations that have none. Room count and layout vary by trailer, so we confirm them on the call.

Five and six room honeywagons. Private cast rooms with restrooms, on one towable trailer.

Questions coordinators actually ask
How far ahead should I book a unit?
Call as soon as you have a shoot date, even a soft one. Pilot season and the weeks around a holiday go first, and there is exactly one of each unit configuration on the lot at a time. If you need something tomorrow, still call — we will tell you in a minute whether we have it rather than making you wait on an email.
Do you deliver to set, or do I pick up?
Both work. Most productions have us deliver to basecamp or the location and collect at wrap. Others send a driver to the yard at 9440 Haskell Avenue in North Hills. Delivery inside Los Angeles County is standard. The exact fee depends on distance and time of day, and we give you the number on the booking call.
What insurance do you need from my production?
A certificate of insurance naming Cinecraft Services Inc as additional insured and loss payee, covering the unit for the full rental period including travel days. Send it before the unit leaves the yard. Coverage limits and exact wording are on the insurance page.
Who answers the phone at 2 a.m. on a night shoot?
Jimmy does. The number on this site, (818) 370-4079, is a cell phone, and it stays on for the length of your rental. Office administration — paperwork, invoicing, scheduling — runs Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
