Water and pump truck rental in Los Angeles
The truck that keeps the other trailers working. Fresh water in, waste out, on a schedule rather than on an emergency.
What it is for
Everything at basecamp with a tap or a toilet has a tank behind it, and a tank is a clock. A six room honeywagon on a five-day week, restroom trailers on a hundred-person call, cast trailers running showers — none of it is plumbed into anything on a location, and none of it runs the week on what it arrived with.
The water and pump truck is what resets that clock. It refills fresh water and takes the waste away, so the units at basecamp keep working through the day instead of quietly going out of service at lunch on day three. It is the least visible thing on the call sheet and it decides whether the rest of the basecamp holds up.
Tank capacity, pump rate, hose reach and how long a service run takes on your layout are confirmed against the truck and against your location. Send the basecamp layout and the headcount with your dates and we will tell you what the schedule looks like.
Book it with the trailer, not after it
The mistake is treating servicing as something you deal with when a tank alarms. By then it is a same-day call, the truck is on somebody else’s basecamp, and a room goes out of service on a shoot day.
Tell us at booking how many trailer units you have out, how many people are on the call sheet and how many days you are there. The service runs go into the quote as a schedule, so the truck turns up before anything runs out rather than after somebody notices.
If Cinecraft is supplying the honeywagons or the restroom trailers, this is already part of the same conversation. If another vendor supplied them, we can still service them — say so on the call so we know what fittings we are turning up to.
